Payroll Administrator

Albany, Georgia
Responsibilities
- Process biweekly/semimonthly/monthly payroll using ADP Workforce Now and RUN.
- Ensure accuracy of employee data, timesheets, and compensation adjustments.
- Prepare and post journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and assist with month-end close. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Generate and analyze payroll reports for management and audit purposes.
- Coordinate with HR and Finance teams on employee changes, benefits, and tax deductions.
- Support year-end reporting, including W-2s, 1099s, and other required filings.
- Assist in audits by providing payroll documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Assist in other accounting areas as needed. Such as accounts receivable and payable functions, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in payroll/accounting.
- Proficiency with ADP payroll systems (Workforce Now, Run, or other ADP platforms).
- Solid understanding of GAAP and payroll accounting principles.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and time management abilities.
Compensation
$25 – $27 per hour depending on experience.
